Which is better?

What do you think is better? Getting adjusted to what you have...what you're working on..being content and satisfied with things in general OR being fussy...wanting more and not sticking with anything you're not happy about?

You'll tell me to strike a balance. But what if I can't?

it depends on individual and situation..
i feel one cant always get the best in everything..so some compromise has to be made..

It's easier to fuss, definitely. But I think the only way we're ever going to be happy is when we're satisfied with what we have. You're happy when you're with someone you love. Why? Because there's no one else you'd rather be with, so you're content with that moment, right there and you don't want more. :)

having something to look forward to and watching it take shape is thrilling, isnt it?
what you have right now is something you desired sometime back.
the meslow's need hierarchy works here :)

Love :)

@ Sushi

But WHY should we compromise? Its OUR life?
Life can't be a compromise!
