Everybody-you know how much you all mean to me... simply because keep telling each one of you. hehehe

I hope this is a good year for me. Someone told me it's a lucky year for the Capricons. ;)

lalalalalalalalalala

I'm not as psyched as I used to be. But its nice.

Ohohohoh...I'm 19 now btw.

If you're reading this post, WISH ME!!!

I'll end with what Narendra wrote for.................... ME!!!!

Thankyou so much for my gift. I lub it. Please talk to me soon.

When words filled mute corners

And rhythms played harps,

Not the other way round…

When chimes moved no muscle

So that they didn’t miss what you say

When giggles crossed books and shelves

And heaviness of evenings felt so light

~

O give me lines to write

O give me lives to live

~

While you fortified your tears

And counted mine as they trickled down

When laughter broke out of those same forts

And roared amid death silence

Dry leaves began falling from above

Just to have a closer look at you

When giggles crossed temples and bells

Loudness of gongs felt so faint

~

O give me lines to write

O give me lives to live

~

But rhythms will all soon perish

Sounds and words will finish

Giggles with be washed by times and space

And then in some different clothes

I shall come here again

I know you would be here too

Waiting to be found, waiting to be ‘you’

O give no lines to write

O give me more lives to live

~

Then perhaps I would find for you,

‘Known to many, seen by few’

I’ll search for you in the dog eared books.

Running my fingers across the dust shelves

Hitting gongs and temple bells

‘Seen by many, known to few’

In my dry leaf, I find you

Like a fresh pearl…’divine dew’

~

I don’t have to say anything more…this poem is for you diu (look even this line rhymes…You diu…diu you…yoo hoo…do the dew… :) )! Happy birthday to you!

Mr. Rab, I know I can't question you and all, but why tune banayi yeh jodi?? WHY????

Yeah.
I was a SRK fan.
years . I don't anymore. That's basically because he was acting like an ass in the award shows by insulting people too much.
Who has replaced him:Vinay Pathak. Ranbir Shorey, maybe??

Haan, so anyway, I had to watch because the same man who directed Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (my all time fav, btw) directed this.

I aint gonna be such a sentimental fool no more!!

It is yuck, the movie. Thoda reality mangta hai, yaar. This was just stooooopid!!
I am not going to bore you with the review.

Just this: STAY AWAY.

But the highlight of the day was my buddy. He sang for me. First time anyone has SUNG FOR ME.
It was so damn sweet. That made my day totally. I love him.
This happened AFTER the movie. Sooooooooooooo, I'm on top of the world now!!
He even allowed me to record it, so I have that bit of memory with me.
Did I say that I love him???
Yes I do.
Are you reading this, mister?

These past few days, I have realized (even more so) how much my friends mean to me. You guys as well. A lot.

And what was with everyone in the last post 'hating to admit' that they missed me?? Haaan??? LOVE to admit it.

PS: Happy Budday, KI!!

The happiest day of my life!!! :D

Well... some things just make ur day!!

However insignificant they may be to the rest of the world, in the end, you gotto live with yourself and what you think matters the most.. :)

I'll give every minute minute detail here- my memory sux and I just want to remember all the tiny things that happened today!! :)

Well.. most of the morning was normal stuff and in the afternoon, I had my mechanical workshop.. That, in other words was 4 hours of manual labor!! :(
The first five minutes was really fun and exciting for me.. Later, i just wanted to die!! :P
Filing metal blocks with a file with apparently no difference was kinda boring, frustrating and most of all- pointless!! After all that sweating, seeing like 5 grams of dust on the workshop table is NOT AT ALL satisfying, take it from me!!

After class, I was thirsty, lazy to walk to a cooler so I emptied 5 peoples water bottles.. I still am thirsty right now.. but that isn't important... :)

So so so... there we were on the bus- 120 of us in a 52 seater(that's right!!).. I was texting and listening to FM.. The gal sitting next to me was not much of a talker so i was drifting.....until a guy tapped my shoulder.

"Are you Divya?"
"Yeah. I am..." (I was realli confused coz i had never noticed him before and he knew my name! :P )
"Come on back.. We want to talk to you.."
"Fine!" (Frankly speaking, i was really excited.. my heart was pounding- but i WAS excited!!)
So i went on to the back of the bus- a whole load of seniors sitting around, looking eager as well- i was their first prey)
"Sit over here" said a guy in a blue shirt pointing toward a spare tyre..
"No thanks, i prefer standing"
"No you've GOT to sit there- those are the rules"
( I argued quite a bit with him- just for the fun of it and finally sat on my assigned seat)
"Give us an intro now.."
"Well okay (and i did that)... So what else?"
(I got asked a couple more questions which i answered..)
"Okay.. now we will introduce ourselves- name, year and branch.. You gotto remember and then repeat all of it.. If u forget any detail, u'll have to tell it twenty times..."
"nooooooooooooooooooooo.............."
(NO heed paid to that plea..)
And then it started.. "Hey, I'm Rohit..bla bla... I'm Naman.. bla bla..."
I am really bad at names.. REALLY.. So when 25 odd people introduced themselves, it did not help AT all...
So i was asked to go around the bus and find out their names- it was a TOTAL waste of time.. No one was helping, really, people were just giving me wrong names and i was being shuttled around..

Then the ragging was "officially DONE".. One senior got up and made me sit there (which was really sweet coz they could have asked me to continue sitting on that tyre) while he stood up for the rest of the journey... Then they asked me to do a couple more things- like tell the Bow Wow tables (I'm sure u know what that is).. Then they also asked me to pick a guy i found really cute and ask him his name..Yeah.. I wriggled out of that too..(can u imagine??? :P )

For the rest of the journey, i was in the back with them... :)
It felt nice. Really. Not that i expected otherwise.

But u just feel good when things go just the way u expected them to go.. Even a little better, maybe..

I wanted to be ragged.
I was.

I wanted to be friends with the seniors later.
I am now.

Plus- It made my day totally worthwhile!! :)

I'm eating my second bar of dark chocolate right now.
CAN LIFE GET ANY BETTER???

Totally looking forward to brag about the rag.. ;)

Faith

God does exist.

Some people believe. Some don't. I do.

Why,though? I do because I get a sense of security. I believe there is somebody up there. It helps a lot. Especially when I see all the injustice happening around me. It really is nice to believe that someone is looking down upon me. Guiding me.

Friends and family are human. They hurt you at times, you hurt them at times.

Sometimes the damage done is irreparable. Everyone has regrets. We have no one to blame, but ourselves. Sometimes things just don't go as planned. Unpredictable stuff happens. Maybe for the best, at times for the worst. You can't see light at the end of the tunnel. No one can help you, really. It is at this time people become very religious or atheists. You have to stay strong. We can seek help or lean against our loved ones. But we have to live our own lives.

I believe in God also because belief helps me make the right decisions.

I have done many things that I shouldn't have. I'm not perfect. I admit it. I can't point fingers at others, yet i have. I have hurt people unintentionally, intentionally at times too. I have apologized sincerely if I have had the chance to. Its not that easy. I have to do it though.

I do have regrets. I regret some things that I have do. I try not to think about it. I guess it is a part of living. But somehow, it can't be justified with something as simple as that.

All I can hope for is some sort of forgiveness. From God. Or maybe from myself. I don't really know. But it doesn't really matter either.

This entry is in fond memory of my sister. I hope you are happy up there, honey.
